Elżbieta Muskat-Tabakowska is Professor Emerita of the Jagiellonian University Krakow. In the years 2002-2012 Head of the UNESCO Chair for Translation Research and Intercultural Communication. English specialist in the field of cognitive linguistics and translation theory. Conference interpreter. Translator of numerous literary and historiographic texts. Her achievements include seven books in the field of linguistics and translation theory, as well as about 150 original scientific articles, published in Poland and abroad. Visiting Professor at several European universities. Author of the second-cycle study program in translation, qualified to the European Master's in Translation network.
